As promised we will be blogging the latest wedding trends.
This trend for 2014 has came courtesy of Vera Wang who presented an all-pink collection at Bridal Fashion Week. However we can’t forget the first fashionista to really catch our eye back in 2002 with her one-of-a-kind style and her custom blush toned ombré John Galliano for Dior dress. More recently we have seen the likes of Anne Hathaway, Reece Witherspoon, Jessica Biel and Kaley Cuoco opting for blush-toned gowns. Since then more and more brides have been seeking out romantic alternatives to the all-white or ivory gowns.
Although Vera Wangs collection opted for more non traditional and modern coral, peony and magenta shades. Pale blushes, peaches and other soft shades exude a romantic and vintage vibe when made of layers of tulle — perfect for a candlelit, ballroom wedding or an outdoor, rustic affair.
Not only will this trend be popular in the wedding dress market this year, we can see that it’s going to be one of the favourites for Prom Dresses too. We absolutely love the beautiful blush shades and welcome a less traditional but amazingly romantic approach. We will 100% be having a representation of this trend in our collection.
Let us know what you think, would you opt for a less traditional dress with a bit of colour? With some of the gorgeous designs above we would most certainly consider it.
